Mono..
Mono..
RR, I can't argue those facts..
I agree that all lines will differ, even down to the batch number they come from when being spooled off.. one batch can be better than another.. same make, same BS..Care in tying any knot must be paramount...
I always test a line to destruction with different knots..I most often use the perfection loop now, or a simple double turn overhand..Both with mono...
I have a couple of spools of Fluro to try this season, one of the members gave me them. Up to now i'm quite pleased with the knot strength, they seem pretty good.. (they are quite high Bs's) But i will try em out properly under fishing conditions.
The only knot i ever really worry about is the wind knot, I have dread of them
I will often run my fingers down the leader when night fishing
I find one...or any imperfection, new leader is put on... I wont try to unpick, as I have seen sometimes advised
foolish to chance damaging even more, an already damaged line ????
I hope i don't drop a gooley with this fluro
But try it I will...
Question.. How did you damage your thumb.. It's not hammer rash is it ??
Get better soon..
