I fished a stretch on the Fowey 2 weeks running and the river is really low both times and no signs of any fish, there has been no rain down here in Cornwall for weeks now.
Would I be wasting my time going up there again this weekend seeing as we have had no rain again this week, but we have just had spring tides since I last went up there.I have over 100 mile round trip to fish the Fowey nearest to me.

hi there airart , personally if i was in your shoes i would not bother at the moment but wait for some rain over a day or two . but if you could manage some night fishing then that cold bring some rewards on the fly . best of luck . frostyfish .

I've got 150+miles round trip to fish......only a hole in the petrol tank would keep me away from the bank ;)

As above...gotta be worth a chuck one evening/night.
