I can always tell when it's getting near the start of the season, I start to dream of fishing :D

Last night I was on the Teifi, I had walked there, about 110 miles
Opened the car boot and I had forgotten to pack any of my gear :(
(Yes I walked there but also had the car when I got there!)

There were hundreds of people fishing.

Best of all, the river ran through the middle of a large building and we were all trying to cast down corridors to get to the fish

....c'mon April !

Gaz Blank,

I know what you mean.... however on another note, I'm very disappointed that you've failed to pick out the serious issue of actual 'sleep wading':D

The situation, where...say 3rd time down the pool, you have a wonderful feeling of general peace and tranquility, followed by a pirouette and a 'bloody hell nearly fell in' moment.

'Having a wobble' for no apparent reason (other than dropping off) is the precursor to actual 'sleep wading' which I've only done once- and got very, very wet.....

My beloved claims that she has been woken by yours truly waving his arms vigourously above the bed in the early hours of the morning, i'm either
a) Fly Fishing or
b) throwing a ball into a lineout (i only gave up playing rugby recently!)

You've got my sympathy.
