Been having a look through my Trout hook collection this morning and come accross these, Kamasan B410 (Smut / Midge) #12, 14, 16.

Love to fish very sparce spiders and traditional northern flies, so tied these up with no bodies, very similar to the Clyde and Tummel style.
could be just the job for chucking at wild trout in small fast bubbly streams.
Sorry but not very good photographic skills shown here :D

Hello Redfox.
Im a big fan of Northern wet flies and since i came on the internet i am surprissed at the number of preasant day anglers who know very little about wet flies.
The site i use hear in the n-east has had a lot of intrest this winter and it seems more are giveing the small traditional wets a go.
I got called a purist when one fellow saw my trout flies that i use up on the Teesdale reservoirs and my favourite rivers.
Always give the greenwell and the snipe and purple with a black and peacock on the point a swim on 22 march.:)PB

with such a small amount of thread on the hook do you take special precautions to stop it slipping? Like glue or varnish after you have tied in?
