Welsh Dee 1st Nov 2010
River very high today so managed to fished quite high up.
River clear.
river level ....Although it looked like a 700 on fish wales site it was more like 1000.

Fishing was hard but was rewarded with 1 sea trout four grayling and a brown trout.
All to heavy bugs.
Best fish a grayling of 35cm
The sea trout spending more time out of the water than in once hooked...
Outlook if you are considering fishing and it doesn't put any rain down I would take a trotting rod.......it was quite difficult wading today.

Cheers Phil,

Ive found the wading a bit slippy on the Dee in recent trips - the leaves soon make the rocks slimey!

Well done on the fish....I cant get out until Saturday - but the forecast looks awful!
