Surface Lures - Taking things too far!

I was messing about tying rubber legs into Jambo patterns when I went a bit mad.

I suddenly thought to incorporate some booby eyes and things kind of got carried away:

So - do I call this a "Jambug" or a "Jamb-Omygodthat'sugly"?!! :>

It has a nice profile in the water and I'm looking forward to losing it in a bankside hedge this weekend (hopefully after a fish or two).

Now where's my laudinum...

There's a fairly (similar) 'skatter pattern' to that used for summer Steelhead fishing on the North Umpqua River in Oregon.

Well the damn thing works - a pounder took it on what turned out to be a quiet night on the fly's second cast at last knockings.
