A few days ago i broke my double handed rod, and after a quick call to Fishtec's customer service i was told to return rod and they will send a new one out a.s.p. Four days after sending it back my new rod arrived, no hassle no stress.

I can think of a very well known company who could do with following this great example of customer service.

Fishtec, a pleasure to deal with, thoroughly recommended.

out of interest what rod was it and did fishtec charge a replacement / repair fee for the new rod i know when they had the loomis repair contract they charged i think 10-15% of a new rods value

The rod was a Guideline LPXe, and no they didn't charge a penny.
