With the fly tying season comeing up and thoughts on new fly patterns and styles, for the last two seasons i have been using my Kamasan B 8OO Extra long shank, and i use the size 6 BI70 Medium Traditional . I dont do a lot of reservoir fishing with lures these days ,and i had fogotten i still had a lot of these hooks in my boxs. The extra long shank is about the size of a tube fly but thinner and with a gold bead added swims deeper.I am not suggesting this is new all i am saying is we can use up these hooks that i think most people have in their kit collected over the years.Saves you some money and the fish seem to like them .They are also less fiddley to tye i find .P.B
