Browsing through some other forums and I came across a thread about hand-warmer pockets on wading jackets being to low! Is this really the case? Are they useless if you are deep wading?

I always think they're too damn high in most jackets, but I'm not that bothered as the only time I really use them is salmon fishing in early spring or autumn on frosty days, usually after I've got my hands wet.......virtually never when seatrouting.
