Wishing you all the best for 2018!
We would like to take a minute to thank you all, whether members or guests, for taking the time to visit and hopefully contribute to our forums during 2017.
It is not always easy running a forum like ours as there will always be a measure of opinions and thoughts that clash (particularly on the non-fishing topics!). While the Sea Trout Forum is not as big and lively as some of our other forums perhaps, we appreciate equally all your contributions and efforts to keep it ticking along, sharing great information and trip reports to help us all catch a few more fish each year and to celebrate such a wonderful and special fish.
Thanks go to our moderators who play a very important role, acting as referees and protecting common decency across the forums. Our continued goal is for these forums to be a place anyone can arrive at and find an inviting and welcoming community they want to join and be a part of. This might not always suit everyone and we understand that but that is our target, and we appreciate all your help in achieving this.
All that remains is to wish you all a very Happy New Year and tight lines for the new season in 2018 from the Fish and Fly team.
Thanks

Likewise Paul and all the best to everyone and hopefully a great 2018 season .
Also maybe the NRW will see some sense with their proposals and take note of the replies from the anglers that were submitted.
Cheers
Spencer

I would also like to wish all our members a Happy New Year & hopefully a great sea trout fishing season a head.
Last season was a wash out up here on the rivers I fished, late August before I managed my first of the season
Never a less I finished the season off well with both sea trout & salmon catches
Tight lines for 2018
Paul.

Happy New Year from me too!
This is a quiet time for sea trout anglers, but let's all look forward to the season ahead (and resolve to post our reports on it)!
