New moon this week, I'm led to believe this is good for sea trout fishing, so I'll be out this weekend.
I hope there's a few fish moving up river.

Yes get out there to all and get a few on the bank and plenty of pic's to.

Soon I shall be off to Testwood so will report on that trip, not going to say to much otherwise I could put the mockers on it

Was out last night until 12.30am on the Nith and never heard a splash, fourth time out and yet to hook anything. Been doing a bit of bank walking and with the river really low and sun shining conditions are perfect for spotting fish, sadly they just are not there.

I saw a report from my local Sussex Ouse this week of a dead fish in the margins sadly, probably suffering from lack of oxygen at the moment as like elsewhere we have just had no rain to freshen things up for ages. Its a slow sluggish river for most its course at the best of times so does need some fresh water now again to revive it.

I was on the Usk yesterday and looking in the margins there was plenty of fry life. The water was sluggish but deep so the little fellas seem to be coping ok with the water temperature.
