It was a beautiful sunny and warm day on Wednesday, a bit too bright for salmon fishing so I decided to have a go in the salt but it was mainly to have my first go at casting the 40+ lines I bought and have to say that I'm so impressed at the ease of casting that I'm going to get 1 or 2 for my 7# rod, thanks to all who recommended. Unfortunately I didn't catch anything but the mission was more to do with casting than catching.
Here are some pictures of where I was fishing, sorry about the quality.
This is the view from under Fort point looking towards Eyemouth harbour entrance.

With my back to the harbour the view in the distance is of St Abbs head

The rocks are very rugged for miles and do provide good Pollock sport for the occasional angler with a spinning rod so why not the fly, watch this space;)
